The Hunt the Front team unloaded at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Thursday night where Joseph Joiner made his first ever appearance with the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals. Joseph went into battle against a stout field of 36 Super Late Models in the $3,500-to-win event.
Minor engine problems hampered Joseph’s qualifying laps, forcing him to run a consolation race. He finished second in the consy, earning him the 14th starting spot in the 22-car field. Joseph was one of the biggest movers in the 35-lap feature, working his was forward to a fifth-place finish behind Brandon Overton, Chris Madden, Steven Roberts, and Michael Page.
