On Saturday night, the Hunt the Front team invaded Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia for the inaugural Gene Maine Memorial. The $6,000-to-win even drew a stout field of 23 Super Late Models.
After qualifying eighth overall, Joseph went on to place third in his heat race, earning him the sixth spot on the grid for the 40-lap main event. Joseph was knocking on the door of a Top-5 finish before getting shuffled back on a late-race restart, recording an eighth-place finish in the final rundown.
The team traveled to Tri-County Speedway Pollard, Alabama on Monday for Monday Night Mayhem. Jesse and Dirt Daddy were scheduled to make their first ever laps at the 1/4-mile oval during the Memorial Day special. Unfortunately, the event was nixed by rain halfway through the program.
