Joiner and Enterkin Compete with XR Super Series at All-Tech

Joseph Joiner and Jesse Enterkin entered the opening round of the weekend's XR Super Series Super Late Model doubleheader at All-Tech Raceway (Ellisville, Fla.).

Twenty-eight racers entered Friday night's program, and Joiner hit the ground running with the fastest qualifying time in his group. After starting on the pole of his heat race he slid backwards to a second-place finish, which locked him into the fourth-starting spot for the 40-lap, $20,000-to-win finale.

Joseph raced in the Top 5 throughout the feature before notching a third-place finish behind Ashton Winger and Tim McCreadie.

Enterkin's night saw him fail to qualify for the feature via preliminary action, but he received a provisional to start 24th on the main event grid. He made up a few spots early in the feature, but retired on lap 16 to a 22nd-place finish.

The winner's check jumped to $40,000-to-win for Saturday's program, and the 12th fastest time in his qualifying group positioned Joseph fourth on the starting grid for his heat race. After notching a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Joiner charged forward nine spots in the 50-lap feature to pick up another third-place finish behind in the feature behind Jonathan Davenport and Brandon Overton.

Meanwhile, on Saturday Jesse expanded on his performance from the previous night. While he was forced to utilize a provisional for the second-straight night to start the main event, he advanced 10 positions in the finale to cross the finish line in the 14th position
