King of the Sandbox Brings HTF Home

It was a home game weekend for the Hunt The Front team with a short trip to Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) for the inaugural King of the Sandbox presented by Sweet Victory Apparel. Action opened on Friday night with a $5,000-to-win program, which found Joseph Joiner starting sixth before registering an eighth place finish in the prelim feature. (Jim Denhamer image)

Action continued on Saturday night with a $20,000 Super Late Model prize on the line in the finale of the King of the Sandbox. Joseph struggled early in the night, which left him starting 12th on the feature grid. He would go on to advance eight spots to finish fourth in the 50 lapper behind Brandon Overton, Max Blair, and Bo Slay.

Meanwhile, Jesse entered the 602 Late Model Sportsman division on Saturday night, where he came away with his fifth win of the year. Enterkin swept the program by setting fast time in qualifying and then leading every lap of the feature to score the $2,000 triumph over Jason Barnhill, Matt Chavers, Brodie Gibson, and Ricky Gilmore.

The event marked the final event of the year for the team, and they thank all of their fans and sponsors for their great support.
