Runner-up finish for Joseph Joiner at Blackwater Speedway with Ultimate SE

Staying in his home state of Florida before joining the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Joseph Joiner made a stop at Blackwater Speedway (Baker, Fla.) on Friday and Saturday for the Ultimate Southeast Series doubleheader.

Finishing ninth in the opener on Friday night, Joiner faired much better in the $7,000-to-win finale where he drove to a runner-up finish. He trailed Rusty Schlenk while Jadon Frame completed the podium.

Onto Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Sunday evening where Joseph started 19th in the $12,000-to-win season opener and ran 13th.
