Joseph Joiner Races at Powell Family Memorial

Joseph Joiner returned to All-Tech Raceway on Friday for the opening round of the Powell Family Memorial. The $26,000-to-win Crate Racin’ USA event drew a field of 73 Late Model competitors. Via qualifying Joseph earned the outside-front-row starting spot for his heat race. Despite battling a bottom dominant track, Joiner charged to the lead with two laps remaining and ultimately the win. Via his heat race performance he locked into the sixth-starting spot for Saturday’s 67-lap finale.

On Saturday evening Joiner was enjoying a solid run in the feature before an engine failure late in the mega finale brought his night to a disappointing early end in the 21st position.
