Joiner Embarks on Midwest Swing

Joseph Joiner embarked on a Midwest swing in his Hunt The Front No. 10 Super Late Model over the weekend with a trip to Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway for the 32nd running of the Prairie Dirt Classic.

On Friday a talent-laden field of 81 World of Outlaws CASE Late Model Series competitors were on hand to get festivities underway at the storied event. Joseph began his outing by qualifying 25th fastest in his group, which pinned him 13th on the grid for his qualifying feature. Joiner had worked his way up to ninth in the prelim before a slider gone wrong from another competitor resulted in front end damage.

He ultimately finished 12th, which pinned him 11th on the starting grid for Saturday night's B-Main.

Unable to make up any ground in the Last Chance Race, Joiner saw his weekend draw to an early end.
