Joiner Narrowly Misses the Cut at Fairbury
Joseph Joiner rolled into Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Tuesday night for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event.
The $22,022-to-win program drew a star-studded field of 42 entries. Joiner got behind early in the night with the 17th-fastest time in his qualifying group, followed by a ninth-place finish in his heat race.
Starting the B-Main in the ninth position he rallied late to as high as the second position before missing the final transfer sport by a matter of inches to Steve Sheppard.
