Hunt the Front Team Participates in Another Weekend of Mod Action
Hunt the Front found three team drivers, Joseph Joiner, Jonathan Joiner, and Jesse Enterkin all returning to the driver's seats of IMCA Modifieds over the weekend with a double dip at Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.).
Joseph kicked off his weekend in the Kelby Wright Race No. ONE Modified with a runner-up finish on Friday night to Austen Becerra. Saturday night he charged fourth to the lead before a right-front suspension issue caused him to slip to a 13th-place finish on Saturday.
Jonathan's weekend ventures included a ninth-place finish on Friday in the Kelby Wright Racing No. TWO before battling a challenging outing on Saturday night, which included him getting turned into the wall in his heat race before being involved in a wreck in his B-Main. With a fifth-place in his B-Main his night came to an early end.
Jesse was back behind the wheel of the Thirlby Motorsports No E47 entry, and he enjoyed a sixth-place run from the 11th-starting spot on Friday followed by a 17th-place finish on Saturday after seeing a Top-10 run negated by a pile-up in the feature.
