Joseph wraps up Cherokee Chief title at Cherokee Speedway in Freddy Smith Memorial
Headed up to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" one last time in 2025, Joseph Joiner unloaded the Hunt the Front No. 10 machine at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for Sunday’s inaugural Freddy Smith Memorial.
Finishing third in a heat race, Joiner started 12th in the 50-lap, $15,000-to-win main event and looked to secure the championship with a solid finish. Joseph made his way through the field and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth. The result was good enough to earn him the $10,000 Cherokee Chief championship over Trent Ivey.
