Joiner Travels to The Hornet's Nest
Joseph Joiner traveled north to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday for the inaugural Alabama Gang 100 with the World of Outlaws (WoO) CASE Late Model Series.
A whopping 62 entries filled the pit area with the field divided into three $4,000-to-win programs. Joseph qualified 18th fastest in his group, which lined him up 18th on the starting grid for his 20-lap prelim feature.
He enjoyed a strong run in the feature, moving forward to a 10th-place finish.
On Saturday night he was on the outside looking in for the duration of the night. He started and finished fourth in his heat race, which left him one spot shot of a transfer to the feature. In the B-Main, he started and finished third, which once again left him one spot short of a transfer as his his night and weekend came to an early end.
