Fourth-place finish for Joseph in Battle at the Beach finale
Jesse Enterkin and Joseph Joiner joined 23 Roger Dabbs Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series entries at Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) over the weekend for the two-day Battle at the Beach.
Joseph raced his way into the main event with a third-place finish in his heat race while Jesse’s eighth-place outing in his heat positioned him on the 12th row for Saturday’s $10,000-to-win feature.
Wheeling his way up into the top-five, Joiner climbed eight positions in the 50-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Colton Leyendecker, Corey Neil Jr., and Matt Henderson across the line with Steven Jernigan coming in fifth.
After marching up to 12th from the 23rd early in the A-Main, Jesse was collected in a tangle on the ninth circuit that brought a disappointing end to his weekend.
