Joseph Joiner fifth in Southern Showcase finale with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Debuting his brand-new Kubota Genuine Parts wrap, Joseph Joiner began his June roadtrip at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the Southern Showcase with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Missing the mark in Friday night qualifying, Joiner started 18th in the quick 30-lap shootout and finished 19th.
Finding much more speed for Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Joseph stopped the clock seventh-quickest in his group before finishing third in his heat race. Starting ninth in the 50-lap feature, Joiner moved passed four competitors to record a Top-5 finish in fifth.
Joseph is currently fifth in the HTFSDS point standings.
