Joiner fourth in Bad Boy 98 with Comp Cams; picks up Modified victory at Batesville
With his original plans getting rained out, Joseph Joiner made the haul to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Bad Boy 98 with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
After a flat right-rear tire derailed his run on Friday, Joiner started 14th in the $12,000-to-win finale on Saturday night and drove forward ten positions to land inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Tony Jackson Jr., Billy Moyer Sr., and David Breazeale while Timothy Culp completed the Top-5.
Joseph also competed in the IMCA Modified division at the track, picking up the victory on Friday evening and finishing fifth in the weekend finale on Saturday.
