Pair of top-10's at Whynot Motorsports Park

Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Joseph Joiner visited Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday for the event co-sanctioned with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).

Following a blistering 12.387-second lap in time trials that claimed him the fast time honors, Joiner held onto the final transfer spot in his heat after tagging the wall in turn two. Nearly cracking the top-five in the feature, Joseph advanced forward seven spots in the 30-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.

For another $5,000-to-win program on Saturday, Joseph was forced to take a provisional into the finale after getting caught in a multi-car pileup in his heat. Wheeling his way into the top-10, Joiner passed 13 cars in the 40-lapper to place 10th.

Joseph is third in the latest Hunt the Front SDS standings and is currently leading the MSCCS points chase.
