Fourth-place finish for Joseph in Deep Fried 75 at Duck River
Joseph Joiner returned to the driver’s seat of the Langenfelder Mechanical Contractors No. 10 Late Model on Saturday afternoon at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Deep Fried 75.
Drawing 39 Late Models for the 11th running of the annual event, Joiner outran Dale McDowell in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. With the redraw placing him on the second row for the $20,000-to-win Deep Fried 75, Joseph rebounded after losing ground early with a fourth-place run in the 75-lapper. He trailed Mike Marlar, Dale McDowell, and Jadon Frame across the line with Trey Mills coming in fifth.
Joseph remains third in the latest Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series point standings.
