Joseph Joiner and Jesse Enterkin make Malvern Bank Late Model Series debut in Iowa
Making the trip to Iowa to pilot a pair of Dirt Track Bank-owned entries, Joseph Joiner and Jesse Enterkin rolled into Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway on Friday evening for the first of two nights with the Malvern Bank Series.
Starting off the weekend with 28 Late Models signed in, Joseph raced his way into the 44-lap main event while Jesse struggled in his heat race and took a provisional for the Dale DeFrance Memorial. With a $4,544 payday up for grabs, Jesse retired from the event early while Joseph scored a Top-10 finish in 10th.
The following evening at Adams County Speedway (Corning, Iowa), both drivers raced their way into the A-Main and battled each other during the $4,000-to-win show. After 40 laps, Joseph wound up 15th while Jesse finished 17th.
