Joseph Joiner third in Fall Classic prelim; Enterkin scores Top-10 finish at Whynot Motorsports Park
Taking part in the 30th-annual Coors Light Fall Classic, Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front team joined a field of over 50 Super Late Models at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the two-day event.
Qualifying fifth-quickest in his stacked group, Joiner finished third in his heat race which placed him on the fourth-row for the $3,000-to-win preliminary feature. Joseph made up five spots over 30-laps and wound up on the podium in third.
With the big money up for grabs on Saturday, Joseph did not find the same speed and did not transfer to the $20,000-to-win finale after finishing 11th in his B-Main.
Jesse Enterkin was also racing over the weekend as he entered the Hunt the Front No. 1E Crate Late Model into action and scored a Top-10 finish in the 40-lap main event on Saturday.
