Joseph charges to pair of podium finishes at Lake Cumberland and Florence

The Hunt the Front team rolled out Thursday evening to kick off a doubleheader weekend through Kentucky with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.

With a full-field on hand for the $10,000-to-win opener at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.), Joiner discovered mechanical issues in his primary car and switched to the backup for his heat race where he finished second. Joseph went on to make up three spots in the 50-lap feature and landed on the podium in third behind Cory Hedgecock and Jason Jameson.

At Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) on Saturday, Joseph once again dealt with problems in his primary car and switched to the backup car before the A-Main. This time Joseph started towards the back in 21st and stormed through the field. Joiner landed on the podium in third for the second night in a row, finishing behind Devin Moran and Josh Rice.

Joseph in now fifth in the series point standings.
