Joseph earns podium finish with Southern Thunder; Sixth-place finish in Deep Fried 75
Rolling to the Volunteer State for a three-day weekend, Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front race team joined the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series for Thursday Thunder at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway to close out July.
Putting in the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Joseph started from the second-row in the $7,500-to-win main event and finished on the podium in third. He trailed Ashton Winger and Jadon Frame.
Parked at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) for the Deep Fried 75, Joseph charged from 11th-to-4th in the $8,000-to-win opener on Friday behind Jimmy Owens, Dale McDowell, and Sam Seawright.
WIth $15,000 on the line in the finale, Joiner once again stormed forward seven positions and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth on Saturday.
Joseph is fifth with the STSDS and fourth with the HTF Series.
